Being the first Malaysia Acquia partner, xWeb will further expand its open source content management offerings by developing and delivering custom publishing solutions utilizing Acquia's value-added products and services for the wildly popular Drupal social publishing system. Additionally the program allows xWeb to leverage the Acquia Network for enterprise-class support, site management, and remote network services. "Over the past few years of delivering Drupal solutions to the market, we have heard from prospective customers that they would like the product to be commercially maintained," said Najib Habeb, CEO of xWeb. "With Acquia providing commercial support and managed services for the Drupal implementations that we perform, this will help customers mitigate the risks associated with inexperienced site management providers as well as decentralized platform development. Acquia's offerings will also help us further reduce total cost of ownership in implementing open source and optimize the Drupal customer's ongoing experiences with running and maintaining the Drupal platform." The Acquia Partner Program helps organizations of all sizes identify Drupal service providers with the expertise, experience and services to meet their unique Website requirements. Working together, Acquia and xWeb will focus on extending the reach of Drupal into media companies, publishers, educational institutions, and marketing communications departments of consumer goods companies. Contact xWeb to learn more about our Web content management systems, digital asset management solutions, online collaboration software, custom development, multi-channel publishing systems, and workflow management solutions.
